Specialist knowledge for the next step in a career
The Master degree courses at FOM University of Applied Science are part of the university's postgraduate programme. It brings together advanced and specialist courses of study that are taken after an initial academic degree. The Master degree courses came about in 2007 as a result of the Bologna Process which introduced the tiered system of study consisting of Bachelor and Master degrees that are comparable throughout Europe. The aim of FOM's Master degree courses is to prepare Chinese university graduates for managerial responsibilities in an international environment, for positions as division managers or cross-divisional executives, but particularly for positions with contact to both the German and Chinese economy. Some 3000 Master students are currently enrolled at FOM University of Applied Sciences, over 200 of them Chinese students. FOM Master degree courses are taught in German or English.
