Studying in the province of Shandong
Shandong Agricultural University is based in the town of Tai'an. Established in 1906 as an agricultural university, SDAU today enjoys full university status with 30,000 enrolled students.
Located at the foot of the sacred Mount Tai and not far from Qufu, home of Confucius, Tai'an is interesting from both a scenic and an historical point of view.
The town offers a vibrant picture of modern China and thanks to state-of-the-art high-speed train services is well connected to the cities of Peking and Shanghai which are just two or three-and-a-half hours away.
